What You’ll Be Doing
You will support the Bar and Service teams by collecting beverages from the bar or designated preparation area and delivering them to the correct tables, guests, service stations, or event areas. You will ensure that orders are delivered promptly, accurately, and according to the venue’s service standards.
You will check drinks before delivery to ensure that they match the order and meet the required standards for presentation, garnish, glassware, temperature, and cleanliness. You will communicate with bartenders and servers to clarify any questions, correct discrepancies, and help prevent delays during service.
You will assist with the preparation of service areas before opening, including arranging trays, glassware, napkins, menus, service equipment, and other beverage-related items. You will help ensure that bars, pass areas, tables, and service stations are clean, organised, and ready for operation.
You will deliver beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner, using appropriate service techniques and maintaining awareness of guest needs. You will handle drinks carefully and ensure that beverages are placed correctly and safely at the table or designated location.
You will work closely with servers and other team members to support efficient table service and maintain clear communication throughout the shift. You will help monitor outstanding beverage orders and follow up with the relevant team when orders are delayed or require attention.
You will assist with clearing empty glassware, bottles, cans, trays, and other service items from tables and designated areas. You will ensure that used items are returned to the appropriate location and that guest areas remain clean, presentable, and comfortable.
You will support beverage inventory and operational requirements by helping restock glassware, ice, garnishes, napkins, and other service supplies when required. You will report shortages, damaged items, spills, breakages, or equipment issues to the relevant supervisor or Bar team.
You will help maintain a safe working environment by following correct procedures when carrying trays, handling glassware, moving through busy service areas, and responding to spills or other hazards. You will immediately communicate any safety, service, or guest-related concerns to the appropriate team member.
Because you will be working in active F&B and entertainment environments, you will be expected to remain attentive, energetic, and professional during busy service periods. You may support daytime, evening, weekend, public holiday, and event operations according to business requirements.
You will follow all company procedures relating to guest service, beverage handling, hygiene, health and safety, responsible alcohol service, venue standards, uniform, grooming, and operational procedures.
