What You’ll Be Doing
You will support the Engineering and Operations teams in maintaining the condition, functionality, safety, and appearance of buildings and civil infrastructure across Savaya Group’s venues. You will assist with regular inspections of facilities and identify issues relating to building structures, flooring, walls, ceilings, roofing, drainage, waterproofing, pathways, external areas, and other civil-related components.
You will monitor civil maintenance and improvement works and ensure that projects are completed according to approved specifications, quality standards, timelines, safety requirements, and operational needs. You will assist in reviewing work progress, identifying defects, following up on corrective actions, and ensuring that completed works meet the required standards.
You will work closely with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and external vendors during construction, renovation, maintenance, and refurbishment activities. You will help coordinate site access, work schedules, materials, manpower, and other requirements to minimise disruption to daily F&B and venue operations.
You will support the planning and execution of projects from the initial assessment and preparation stages through to completion and handover. This may include assisting with site surveys, measurements, work scopes, material requirements, project documentation, progress monitoring, and quality inspections.
You will assist in identifying structural or civil-related risks and communicate potential issues to the relevant Engineering or Management team. You will help ensure that corrective actions are properly followed up and that civil works contribute to a safe, functional, comfortable, and visually appealing environment for guests and employees.
You will coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Design, Procurement, Finance, and other departments to ensure that civil works are aligned with operational requirements, project budgets, venue standards, and business priorities.
You will maintain relevant documentation, including inspection reports, work progress records, maintenance reports, project documentation, contractor information, and other civil engineering records required for effective facility management.
You will also support emergency or urgent civil-related issues that may affect venue operations, including water leakage, drainage problems, damaged structures, flooring issues, external area conditions, and other facility-related concerns.
Because you will be working in active F&B and hospitality environments, you will be expected to plan and coordinate works carefully to minimise disruption to guests, staff, events, and daily operations. You will maintain a professional approach when working on active sites and communicate clearly with all stakeholders.
