As a Public Area Attendant at Savaya Group, you will help maintain the cleanliness, presentation, hygiene, and overall appearance of public spaces across our venues, restaurants, events, and guest experiences in Bali. You will work closely with the Housekeeping, Guest Experience, Service, Operations, Events, Security, and Maintenance teams to support a safe, comfortable, and exceptional hospitality environment.

What You’ll Experience

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Maintain clean, organised, hygienic, and welcoming public areas across Savaya Group venues

• Support the cleanliness and presentation of entrances, lobbies, walkways, toilets, dining areas, event spaces, guest facilities, and back-of-house areas

What You’ll Be Doing

You will help ensure that public areas across Savaya Group venues are clean, presentable, safe, and ready for guests throughout the day. You will complete cleaning and presentation tasks before, during, and after service, events, and other venue activities.

You will clean and maintain guest-facing areas including entrances, reception points, lobbies, corridors, stairways, walkways, terraces, dining areas, lounges, event spaces, poolside areas, toilets, changing areas, and other facilities. You will follow established cleaning methods and use appropriate products, equipment, and personal protective equipment.

You will complete regular inspections of public areas and identify cleaning, maintenance, replenishment, safety, or presentation requirements. You will ensure that supplies such as soap, paper products, tissues, sanitiser, and other guest amenities are replenished promptly and reported when stock levels are low.

You will respond quickly and professionally to spills, stains, broken items, waste, damaged facilities, and other issues that may affect guest comfort, cleanliness, or safety. You will place appropriate warning signs where required, follow safe working procedures, and communicate maintenance or safety concerns to the relevant team.

You will support waste collection, separation, removal, and disposal in accordance with venue procedures and applicable health, safety, hygiene, and environmental requirements. You will handle cleaning equipment and chemicals responsibly and ensure that equipment is stored safely and kept in good condition.

You will work closely with Housekeeping, Guest Experience, Service, Operations, Events, Security, and Maintenance teams to coordinate cleaning activities around guest arrivals, service periods, events, venue changes, and high-volume operations. You will communicate clearly when areas require attention or when cleaning activities may affect guest movement.

You will help maintain a professional and welcoming atmosphere by remaining attentive to guest needs while working in public areas. You may assist with basic guest enquiries, provide directions, report lost property, and refer requests or concerns to the appropriate team member.

You will follow venue procedures relating to hygiene, cleaning standards, chemical handling, health and safety, security, lost property, privacy, emergency situations, and access to restricted areas. You will report incidents, hazards, damage, or unusual activity promptly to a supervisor or manager.

As a casual daily worker, you will be expected to work flexibly according to operational requirements. This may include supporting busy service periods, weekends, public holidays, evening shifts, early starts, special events, and post-event cleaning activities.

Because you will work in areas visible to guests, you will remain professional, discreet, well-presented, helpful, and respectful at all times. You will help ensure that every public area reflects Savaya Group’s standards, brand identity, commitment to hospitality, and attention to detail.

• Are you available to work casually across shifts, early starts, evenings, weekends, public holidays, and special events when required?

• Have you worked in public area cleaning, housekeeping, hotels, restaurants, events, facilities, retail, tourism, or hospitality? Previous experience is welcome, while training may be provided for the right candidate.
